Cold & Flu

Cold & Flu

Aside from school back in session and the colder weather coming this also means the awful cold and flu season! I hate hate HATE getting sick! My insides seem to want to leave my body and everything hurts even my hair! Plus not breathing doesn’t help! I feel like I am going to die and I will look at pictures of when I was not sick and happy and how much I miss it! I don’t know about you but when I get sick I am SICK! It can last up to a month sometimes longer. The other bad thing is I am also very pron to getting bronchitis and that makes my life SUPER hard to breathe! Growing up it seemed like I was always sick and now if I see someone with a cold I go all Donal Trump on them and build a wall up and keep them as far away from me as possible! Continue reading

Month One Post Op

Well the other day was my one month since my High Tibial Osteotomy with Rotation. If you are thinking what are you talking about then you will want to read my last post New Leg On The Way and get yourself all caught up. The other day was my 4 week post op appointment. Let me tell you my anxiety was just sky high. I know what you’re thinking why should it be nothing major was going to happen, well if you suffer from anxiety you know that anything and everything can make your anxiety just go crazy! Knowing that I was going to get x-rays did worry me not because of getting one I have had my fair share in the past, but because I remember how I had to get the x-rays during my pre op and I knew I wouldn’t be able to do what I had to do then. My anxiety was also high because I was afraid to receive bad news, or be told that I would have to have surgery again! So I was just all over the place!

2 New Legs Please

Well it is official I am defiantly having 2 surgeries on my legs. Actually it was official back in November but I was waiting to see another surgeon to get a second option.
I have always been the type that falls over nothing and always have some injury a few times every year. Growing up my parents and I never thought anything of it. I remember sometimes when I would be swimming, skating or even just getting out of the car my knee cap would dislocate and that hurt A LOT.
