DIY Spring Wreath

Before we get into todays post I just want to thank everyone for their understanding of me taking the past week off. I had a family emergency (everyone is okay) and I really just needed to spend the extra time just to reflect. April is a VERY hard month for me just because of how last year went so I just had to spend the extra time to myself. I am going to try to keep posting 3 times a week but if I don’t it is just because I need the time to myself. Okay now let’s get into todays post!

SPRING IS HERE but if you live anywhere near me then you know that it sure doesn’t look like it seeing how there was a snow store the past few days! I just feel bad for all the birds that have flown back!

With it being spring it’s time to start planning the gardens and the dreaded spring cleaning and let me just say this year my spring cleaning is me removing EVERYTHING from each room and doing a deep clean plus making piles of things to donate and things to go to the dump but this is a different story!

A few weeks ago when I was out shopping I saw a very cute spring wreath but the price was $70!!!! I’m sorry but I am not spending that much on a wreath when I knew I could make one myself for a fraction of the cost! So that is what I have done! One of the best things about DIY projects is you can make it to fit your style! Okay so lets jump into this!

I bought my fake flowers at the dollar store just because my local craft store at the time didn’t have what I was looking for. I also had my branch wreath left over from before but I did buy it from my local craft store. You can use a wire one but I liked the idea of this for a spring look.

So this is honestly SO easy to make and took me about 10 minutes to make. I mainly had issues with cutting the wire in the flowers.

I just ended up sticking in the stems of the flowers and because my wreath is woven branches I was able to weave it through. You can glue it in place if you want but I like the idea of being able to change it in the future if I want.

That’s it! Very easy and simple and you know what else a great craft to do with your kids or have your kids make one for you for mother’s day! I love how it turned out and the total was under $10!
