Gift Wrapping

It’s day 7 of 12 days of Christmas! Can you believe that we are already half way and that Christmas is just 6 days away! I am SO excited! With Christmas just a few days away you will need to wrap some gifts! Now you can go and buy all the amazing wrapping paper or you can put your own spin on it! Now the reason you can’t see what any of these gifts are is because every gift that is being shown here well the person reads my posts so I don’t want them to see what they got!

Christmas Wrapping

There are so many ways to do this but I personally love using craft paper and then just making each kind different. I have also used some stamps for a few of these. It is so simple and easy and you can get the ink and stamps from the dollar store or your local craft store!

I even made my own little decor for them! For that its super easy all I did was mix 1 cup warm water, 1 cup salt and 2 cups of flour and made it into a dough. I put some flour on my cutting board and rolled out the dough and just used my cookie cutter. I placed them in the oven at 250 degrees F for about an hour and a half. I then just went over them with some paint to give them that extra touch. You can even make ornaments with these or use them as gift tags!

I am the type that likes to make a name tag well different! This year I just wrote the first letter of the person’s name on the paper. I find it makes such a difference! Now because both my parents first name is the same letter I couldn’t do that plus I don’t call them by their first name! Well I could of done it but it would get very confusing Christmas morning!

Aside from giving gifts to my family and friends I really do enjoy my time wrapping the gifts! I like to put a lot of detail into them plus I tend to imagine the reaction of the person I am giving the gift to.

You really don’t need to buy the fancy wrapping paper! Just use the craft paper and make each gift wrapped special to that person!

One of my best friends loves wine! When I was out shopping around I found this stamp knowing it was going on one of her gifts! I am sure she will find it true as I know I do! I even made her decor with the nickname I call her.

If you pick up letter stamps you can write out someones name, a song or a little clue to what the gift is!

I really do love the decor or name tag whatever you want to call it! I love the look of it with white paint and a trimming from my Christmas tree! I just used thin string to wrap around and tied it in the back to secure it.

I hope this gave you some ideas for wrapping some of your gifts! And to my friends who are reading this I can’t wait for you to open your gifts! I still have A LOT more gifts to wrap, am I the only one that finds each year there are more and more people to buy for? I don’t mind at all, I really do love picking out gifts for everyone and wrapping them, then watching them get opened!

Happy wrapping everyone! Don’t forget to come back tomorrow for another new post!
